Shell’s QGC business operates a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant on Curtis Island. We are one of Australia’s leading natural gas producers, focused on developing Queensland’s world-class onshore gas reserves for supply to the domestic market & international customers. Shell’s QGC business employees approximately 270 direct employees and contractors in Gladstone. Approximately 95% are locals. A number of diverse roles are required.
Technical: Production, Electrical & Instrumentation and Mechanical Technicians; Engineers; Marine Loading Masters; Lab Analysts; Planners & Schedulers.
Non-Technical: Human Relations Advisors; Accountant; Document Controllers; Health, Safety & Environmental Advisors; Contracts & Procurement Specialists; Warehouse Officers; Trainers & Assessors; Management Assistants.
Shell’s QGC business provides access to local employment and training opportunities including LNG operator Traineeships; apprenticeships (mechanical and electrical & instrumentation) and Curtis Island LNG Indigenous Pathways Traineeships, the latter which is open to local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander job seekers.
